WHAT CLIENTS SAY
We'd been to three counselors before this. Within one session of reviewing our Stronghold results, we understood the pattern we'd been stuck in for 12 years.
I thought I knew myself. The assessment showed me exactly why I kept sabotaging the same things over and over. That clarity alone was worth everything.
Our church leadership team took this together. It prevented conflicts we didn't even know were coming and showed us how to actually work together.
THE PRACTITIONER
The Stronghold Assessment System was developed by Dr. Johnathan Hines, DCC, drawing from over 35,000 clinical hours working directly with men, couples, and leadership teams since 2007.
This isn't an assessment built in a research lab. It's built from patterns observed in real sessions, real breakthroughs, and real failures. Every question exists because it revealed something that mattered.
Dr. Hines holds a Doctorate in Christian Counseling, is a Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor, Licensed Pastoral Counselor, and is Gottman Method Level 1 trained. He also holds certifications as an ISSA Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Weight Management Specialist.
"Most assessments tell you what you already know. Stronghold shows you what you've been hiding from yourself."
THE METHODOLOGY
Stronghold isn't based on a single theory. It integrates proven frameworks with clinical observation to create a complete picture.
We identify the recurring loops in how you think, react, and relate. These patterns run deeper than personality "types" and reveal why you keep hitting the same walls.
Drawing from Gottman's research and clinical observation, we map exactly how you respond under pressure, what triggers shutdown, and where your breaking points are.
For couples and teams, we analyze the interaction patterns between individuals. Often the problem isn't either person, it's the dynamic they create together.
Most assessments put you in a box. Stronghold shows you the tensions within you and how they play out in real situations.
Every dimension measured has been validated across thousands of hours of actual intervention, not just survey responses.
You won't get 30 pages of theory. You'll get clear patterns, specific risks, and concrete next steps.
Results are structured to support practitioner-led debriefs. The assessment opens doors; the conversation walks through them.
